Evergrow FAQs

What is Evergrow?

Evergrow is an educational resource for parents and caregivers. Parenting brings many dilemmas! How do I manage tantrums? What discipline strategy really works? How do I teach body safety? Many of us are interested in doing things differently than our own parents did and wonder how to better handle these situations. Evergrow is a collection of helpful, easy to read, easy to use ‘how tos’ written by therapists for these tough parenting moments.

What do you offer?

We offer family activities, guides on specific topics, a helpful monthly newsletter, and for a deeper dive, webinars! These resources are written by therapists (and parents!) with many years of experience in exactly these situations.

What’s an Evergrow Gadget?

Evergrow Gadgets are quick, easy “tools” focused on family activities that increase connection between family members.

What's an Evergrow Guide?

Evergrow Guides are 1-3 page resources to help with specific issues like How do I teach self regulation strategies? How do I take care of myself as a parent? How do I foster good sibling relationships? These guides are full of action items and enough background information to give you confidence in using the strategy.

Why would I want to watch a webinar?

Sometimes we need more than just a few minutes of reading to feel confident in doing something new. Our webinars are no more than an hour long. We offer both live and recorded options to fit with your schedule. Affordably priced and starring your friendly Evergreen Child and Family therapists, we break down a tough topic into actionable, easy to follow steps with just enough research and background information to increase your confidence.

What will I get if I give you my email address?

Everyone has access to the Evergrow Gadgets on our website. By giving us your email address, you will have access to the Evergrow Guides as they are published along with our newsletter. Our newsletter has a wealth of information, affirmations, and helpful parenting scripts for situations like–What do I say when our plans change? Or–everytime we go to a store, my son asks for a toy. How do I say no without causing a tantrum?

What if I still need help?

These resources, written and used by therapists, are helpful when specific situations pop up. When problems are getting in the way of everyday life, please contact us at Evergreen Child and Family Therapy to learn about our therapy services.
